I say, you could rename that widget to Hot Topics, which leaves the possibly of adding a New Topics widget, which just has the newly created topics.
Best of both worlds, sir, if you ask me! (As long as it doesn’t get too crowded. If so, there’s plenty of free space in my memory banks I’m not using)
