Reply To: Windows, Mac OS or Linux
I use just linux. Last windows version I’ve used is 7 back in 2014. The hardware I had at the time wasn’t very good, and Windows was just too slow, so I ended deleting it altogether. I don’t play games, I don’t really need all that fancy software for my work, and I’m very comfortable using Gimp, Libreoffice, inkscape, etc. So, even when I’m not at home and I have to use windows, I just download and install the windows version of the same programs I use in Linux.
It doesn’t make any sense for me to switch back, and I think that if you only use a computer for browsing the web, office work and simple image/video editing, there’s no point in paying for a windows license.
