Here’s a fact for the gamers. learned that Thanos is based on a body builder called Rich Piana from a channel called Nick’s Strength and Power. You see, he died of a heart attack (as bodybuilders do) in 2014. Yet he was “huge” on You tube. That means no Royalties or Law suits and heaps of video for CGI artists to draw upon to render over. Marvel denies it of course but it’s very obvious. They even made his chin based in Rich Piana’s goatie. Ironically it’s a fitting tribute nonetheless.
Well, they turned his goatie into a scrotum for example so it is his structure and framework that is what they based Thanos on. Of course they didn’t want to make it obvious. So basically, you take allot of footage from Rich Piana’s Youtube channel, cherry pick what you need to re-enact a line here and there and use it to create real human expressions for the acting role of Thanos. Then just render it with filler like the scrotum chin to hide the similarities. So it is Rich Piana.
