Are there any websites that actually look better in light mode instead of dark mode?
Unpopular opinion warning: I tend to use light mode too on most websites. I like the look of dark mode, but it makes my eyes feel more tired. The main reason is probably that the main software I use has a white background, so it tends to bother me when I switch to a darker window.
For reading, dark text on white background is easier on the eyes, according to some studies. But a dark background is better for content creation, like viewing or editing photos or videos, because the content stands out more.
