bruh I just made an account and I got no clue what’s going on.
its like social media stuff with upvotes and downvotes and stuff.
Reddit is good for memes and pron. Anything else is cringe. As for how to post? I have no freakin idea. Karma is basically worthless unless you plan on posting.
Reddit 101:
So basically, there are different groups on Reddit called “subreddits”. When you join subreddits, content from those subreddits appear on your homepage. You can also make your own subreddits, but I’m not gonna tell you how for now. When you go to other subreddits, you can “upvote” a post if you liked it, and “downvote” a post if you didn’t. And on Reddit, they don’t really use the social media jargon of other platforms. For example:
Other Platforms: Like | Reddit: Upvote
Other Platforms: Dislike | Reddit: Downvote
Other Platforms: Retweet | Reddit: Crosspost

Don’t you need a certain amount of karma? I’ve only made a “real” post twice and I only have 350 karma. f
But you need some amount of karma / account age to post on some subreddits.
