My Dad loves this song and it’s in his playlist of old songs that he loves playing in his speakers. He wasn’t aware of this “rickrolling” thing. And I kept laughing everytime he plays it because it’s like I got rickrolled lol, and he doesn’t know the reason yet. And yes, we watched “Ralph Breaks the Internet” and also watched the post-credits and he finally know what’s this rickrolling thing is about. And he started playing it much more than before. And he’s never gonna give you up.

I think the fact that the discussion is about the song kind of mitigates the severity of the Rick Roll – because it’s basically expected, even if someone tried it wouldn’t have the same novelty, you know?
