yes XD. pokemon is an anime. and a good one at that. if you like that kind of anime you should check out konosuba. it isn’t a monsterfighting anime but it is really good and humorus

if you want a more serius one I recommend sword art online.

I got into watching anime thanks to the original Evangelion series.

And this year(hopefully) the final reboot movie will come out.  I’m excited.
