He could have gotten big but the politically correct trending algorithms probably didn’t like his tounge in cheek shots at Apple. His tounge in cheek humour is his best humour though so catch 22. Even now I don’t get notifications and am late to the party when I have to manually look up Samtime. I logged in here and it’s quiet. Was going to suggest some sort of “Please Explain” reference shorts he could make about the tech universe which is huge from gaming to whatever so if someone looked up “best maps” Sam would have a short on YT or Odysee for Google maps vs Nearmaps vs Nationalmaps or vs in my case “Garmin basemaps” or “Gaia GPS” which I will get if I pay for a “Trailforks” membership (Probably won’t). Doesn’t need to be in depth, just an intro and a few tounge in cheek jokes. Could do one a day easy and post 1 minute shorts. E.g. Need to know about phone OS options other than Android and Apple, a quik short that introduces them briefly would pull views. Can’t get too in depth or it becomes work and if you aren’t interested in that tech it gets laborious. Just an intro is all that is needed. Everyone is interested in an intro because it caters to curiosity, not education. He hates research anyway so win win. Research is easy just scratching the surface. It’s already done. Or music players. Or calculators. Or a wrap of photo apps ( I use ImageMeter a lot). But if Jeremy Clarkson can draw a penis on a Tesla console screen I say Sam tech us subversively how to photoshop our dick picks by extending a photo of a Blue Origin space ship.
In fact I joined Samtime to keep me in touch with all of the tech stuff going on so I don’t pigeon hole myself. I think the first vid I saw was about net nuetrality with tounge in cheek jokes at the height of his powers. Then came the Youtube advertising apocalypse where content creator income was destroyed followed by cenorship in Europe for wrong speak or memes if I recall. Conspiracy theories are just spoiler alerts.
Anyway, I’m not happy if I see yet another notch or Blackberry video especially while FTX collapsed and Twitter got bought by Elon. Those subjects could be for his longer videos but comical tech shorts enmass are what I recommend to enjoyably keep up to date with the interzones.
Anyway, screw Trailforks. Dont need the pro-map extras. Hitting the mountain bike track tommorrow with the free version.
