You’re right, @Australia! The notifications thing just happened for me as well:
The one with the white dot goes away when clicked, the older one does not and has to be marked as read. I think POPE SAMTIME did some work on the website today.
And “Go to forums” is indeed gone from the profiles. I still see the “Comments” section though.
