That’s fair enough. Lot’s of people don’t mind paying for Google services with their data.
But I’d just like to point out that using a VPN or Tor won’t do anything. It’s when you sign into a Google that they start collecting your data. And the data they collect isn’t just location an IP address. They keep track of everything you do while on their services. So that they can better target ads to you. And until recently, they read your emails for this purpose. And to a certain extent, they still do reads your emails.
Please note, I’m not trying to argue with you or be unfriendly. Just explaining that VPNs/Tor does practically nothing to Google’s data collection.
