I have 13 Microsoft certificates and use nothing but Mac/iPhone/AppleTV
I am in the ecosystem really deep and it works well for me.
I just wanted to come home from work and not have to do my own tech support. I just want to browse the web, play on my phone or watch TV.
The one caveat is that I do have a gaming/VR PC connected to my TV in the lounge.
You do pay the “Apple Tax”, however I tend to keep my phone for about 5 years and my MacBook/iMac for about seven before upgrading. I have had very few issues over the past 20 years and when I have it’s been fixed for free or at little cost… quickly.
I am really bummed that Apple no longer sell the Airport range of WiFi routers, they are bullet proof. I have three (one main unit and two to extend) and I can go months with no network blips, drops or having to reboot. It’s a big feat as we have about 4o devices (smart home) connected wirelessly.
