You can update your Avatar, Display Name, Cover Image and more from your Profile Page

1. Log in if you haven’t already
2. In the top menu, go to Forums > My Profile to get to your profile page
3. On your Profile Page, you will find Edit My Page links in the bottom right

You can add widgets and social links to your Profile Page thusly

Adding images to a post in the forums is simple!

1. Click the purple Insert image icon when writing a reply (it’s just above the text box)
2. Click the pop-up and select the image you want to upload, or just drag & drop the image you want onto the pop up
3. Voila!!

NOTE: Only 1 image can be attached to each post for now, and must be a JPG, PNG, GIF under 2MB.

To embed YouTube videos, simply paste the video’s URL into your post when writing.

NOTE: If our FUNK-O-SOFTWARE turns that URL into a hyperlink, make sure to remove that hyperlink before posting for it to work (by clicking it and selecting “Remove Link”).

Subscribing to a forum/topic will send you email notifications whenever a new topic or reply is posted to it.

To see or update your forum/topic subscriptions:

1. In the top menu, go to Forums > My Profile to get to your profile page
2. On your Profile Page, click the Subscriptions tab

Favouriting a topic allows you to find it easily under your profile page, without receiving update emails about it.

To see or update your favourite topics:

1. In the top menu, go to Forums > My Profile to get to your profile page
2. On your Profile Page, click the Activity tab
3. Click the Favourites sub tab

Here are the current rules for the FUNKY forum:

Please DO

• Have fun, chat with FUNKY MONKEYS and share your thoughts!
• Post topics in the relevant forum

Please DON’T

• Use coarse language (f-words, c-words, n-words, all that)
• Insult or get personal with other users
• Incite or advocate violence against a non-fictional character or group
• Impersonate other accounts (eg: SAMTIME, ‘Botka, moderators, other users)
• Spam forums with pointless topics, comments, scams or self-advertisements
• Post anyone’s private information (non -public phone numbers, names, addresses, etc.)
• Post any rudey-nudey or graphic content
• Create a new account as a way of avoiding a suspension

If you see a forum post that you believe breaks the rules, please click the “Report” option above that post. Reports are reviewed by our moderators.

To turn off email notifications from forums/topics you subscribe to:

1. In the top menu, go to Forums > My Profile
2. On your Profile Page, click the Subscriptions tab
3. Click the red X button next to forums/topics to unsubscribe from them

To turn off email notifications for private messages or friend requests:

1. In the top menu, go to Forums > My Profile
2. Click Notifications Settings in the bottom right of your Profile Page
3. Turn notifications for different items on/off and click Save Changes
