Dune Movie Sucks

I never read books. I watch vids at 1.5x and if they talk slow, even more. I am a walking database. But I did read a book once and I could not put it down. It was the book that Edgar Rice Burroughs based Tarzan on or Jumanji etc. It was the book that fascinated the world at the time (The Dark Continent was called so because of the unknown interior, not the race of people) as it was the first time a white guy made it through Africa (after he found Dr Livingstone). It was like reading an Indiana Jones adventure but it was a true story. A real page turner. It’s not politically correct though as it mentions Arabs in the slave trade and cannibals in the Congo. So Henry Morton’s Statue got took down as a result (even though he fought for both the North and South in the Civil War) and he only considered Africans as uncivilised due to lack of Christianity (not race).
Loved it.
