Not just for crypto currency
May 27, 2021 at 3:24 pm #48928I’m thinking of gambling on crypto! Yass.
I don’t mind decentralised currency but it has to be backed by a tangible asset and legal instrument as well as the secure ledger that block chain provides for it to be legit.
But I have clearly underestimated the power of stupid people in large numbers and should have taken advantage of idiots in the last unexpected pump and dump this year.
Firstly, one must see the pool of crypto as one would a pot in a game of poker and that that pot is secured by block chain so no one can steal from the pot. It’s only value once you have thrown in your chips that you traded for cash is the willingness for someone else to exchange those chips for said cash. So it has only a psychological value.
But as I said, never underestimate the power of stupid people in large numbers which I regretfully have done so.
So, I’ve gone to Binance and got an account. Then I transfer AUD to stable coin which is a crypto locked in to the USD. But first is it a legally binding contract that Binance must pay me back their stable coin to USD later?
Not so USDT, the older stablecoin:
So, how about BUSD?
Well it’s approved by the New York State Department of Financial Services which is surprisingly enough, an actual US government department and not some made up company with a virtual office in Bermuda. So that’s a start.
BUSD is 100% backed by U.S. dollars held in FDIC-insured U.S. banks.
So first step is to chuck money at BUSD. Then set a low auto buy limit for ETH in Binance to buy ETH at a set point with BUSD. Then at 2am, when someone is watching Samtime in Europe, ETH will hit the low point soon after a whale dumps their coin and the trade will be done without interrupting your viewing pleasure. This buy will occur at the same time the whale buys back in at the same low point they created while all of the idiots buy buy buy in a frenzy of FOMO for a ridiculous and ever increasing pump.
So, let’s go gambling. And remember, don’t put more into it than you are willing to lose.
Enjoy.
P.S. I really hope Sam does another Crypto wrap and does a “hard fork” joke with an Indian accent.
June 7, 2021 at 6:26 am #49257No offense, but this is what all your topics feel like
June 19, 2021 at 9:29 am #49742Smart ass huh. I post on multiple platforms. Sometimes I cut, paste and edit a little and post here for what it’s worth. So is it the comment or the platform? You looked at it? I even read your reply WEEKS after you posted it and only by off chance so ditto. You posted a talking to the wall troll to a wall. Hilarious. Lolololol. I seek no popularity to compensate for a small dongle hanging from my peripheral accessories. I am heavily shadow banned on many main stream platforms because truth hurts and it breaks the spell of the hive mind. Now, let me read my own post again to reinforce my perceptions of currency, crypto, fiat or otherwise.
P.S. I bet you start using “the hive mind” metaphor yourself. Pretty good one huh? See how I influence.
June 19, 2021 at 6:47 pm #49752I just feel like a lot of your topics are walls of text that no one or very few people are responding to. You have said that you’re posting these on other platforms, hopefully you get more responces there.
Personally, I just cant read these big walls of text, I lose interest very quickly and I can imagine that is the reasoning for many others as well.
I don’t really think anything you’ve said on here is truly banworthy, even for mainstream anti-conspiracy websites like youtube. I don’t care if you’re in to conspiracies or anything else, you do you.
Anyway about the crypto/blockchain thing, I didnt know there was a cryptocurrency officially backed by the US dollar
June 21, 2021 at 2:44 am #49795Blockchain is just the new buzzword, it ain’t that useful, nor is it very private. Bitcoin and Ethereum, and most cryptocurrencies are really bad. Monero is the way to go. Although I sound like a conspiracy theorist, really, the government isn’t all that bad though. The most conspiracy-worthy thing they’ve done is try to shut down LBRY.tv. I’m working on a much more private token that basically ditches blockchain and only uses it to log public requests and to log private requests in encrypted form. I call it an “Exchange of Secrets Token”, where coins are basically keys that you give to other people when you transfer money, then the recipient changes the key of the coin.

June 30, 2021 at 11:47 am #50112OK. It’s war. This is my comeback to all of those people who don’t bother contributing:
July 2, 2021 at 12:13 pm #50167Stealing this meme sadly
July 24, 2021 at 1:06 pm #51039Pretty lame war. Couldn’t even be bothered logging in to reply myself. Been three weeks. I only logged in to buy iMug Pros. 3 of. I keep losing them. OK. What have we got, “Stealing memes”. I would argue memes are inherently designed to relay. Right. Comeback Here:
July 24, 2021 at 2:34 pm #51040U inspired me to make a Demotivator. I posted it here:
