The 2020 iPad Pro was announced today, what are your thoughts?
Kind of looks to me like they’re just selling an expensive laptop with a removable screen that only runs mobile apps and is, therefore, less useful than a normal laptop. Windows has had actual laptops with removable screens that turn into a tablet for a while now, so this isn’t anything new or exciting to me, especially since you have to pay extra for the keyboard in order for this to even function as a laptop.
I agree with @WaggishOhio383. I hate it that you currently have to choose between having a touch screen, and having a full version of MacOS. I’m sure some people find iPadOS useful, but I couldn’t do my job on it.
Wait a second. Macbooks doesn’t have touch screens ? That’s stupid.
I’m mean ok, but other manufacturers have had them for years.
Can’t argue with you there. But at least they have a mostly useless touch bar, now with a physical escape key! And a keyboard that doesn’t break every other month (to be fair though, I’ve never had any keyboard issues on my early-2015 Macbook, in fact I love typing on that thing).
the 2020 iPad looks dope. the iPad is one of the only things Apple is good at. because steve jobs introduced it.
yah but Tim Cook just randomly started charging more for it and now like all their phones are like $1000. I like iPhone but the pricing sucks
