What do you like more?
February 18, 2020 at 3:49 am #24031I think i like the samsung fold more. But thats just on looks btw.
February 18, 2020 at 3:56 am #24036I would buy the galaxy fold because the fold actually makes sense. you can already put a Candybar phone in your pocket and the z flip just makes it smaller for no reason but the fold, on the other hand, is a Candybar phone that unfolds into a tablet. the fold makes use of the folding mechanism in a way the z flip doesn’t. but that’s just my opinion.
February 18, 2020 at 7:22 am #24143I would choose the galaxy fold because it is, really, a cellular tablet that folds into a phone. I like the screen size of the fold, and the size when it is folded is the size of a phone, which is already very easy to carry around. the galaxy z flip is just a phone that folds into a smaller phone. I guess it would be a little easier to carry around, but not by much compared to the galaxy fold.
February 18, 2020 at 8:18 am #24156Allow me to break the trend and explain why I prefer the Z Flip more. I feel like the Galaxy Fold is just more impractical as a phone. If you’re walking around while using it, you aren’t going to want to have it opened in tablet mode. This limits you to using the outer display a lot, which I feel is impractical. The outer display is a strange size and has those terribly large top and bottom bezels. In addition to this, I feel like the added thickness of the phone would make it harder to hold in one hand to use when folded shut. While I get that having a tablet screen is nice, the phone feels less like a phone and more like a tablet that can also be used as a thick, small-screened phone if absolutely necessary. On the other hand, the Z Flip can easily be held in one hand while walking if it’s opened, and the display inside is a normal phone screen size. While the outer display has less functionality, I actually like that approach. I feel like being able to keep my phone closed and just check notifications and the time on the small outer display would keep me from getting distracted by the phone as much. That’s just my opinion on why I think the Z Flip is a better phone. Oh, and did I mention it also costs $620 less? That’s a good selling point too.
February 18, 2020 at 12:59 pm #24238Galaxy fold because it makes more sense to have a mini tablet that can fold than a phone, however I’d want a fixed one without all the problems that it has now. Honestly though foldables are overrated
February 18, 2020 at 2:17 pm #24243It seems that the fold had a lot of problems they have since fixed with the z-flip like no awkward screen on the front.
February 18, 2020 at 3:52 pm #24255I say Z Flip
February 19, 2020 at 6:29 am #24394fold coz i want the screen real estate instead of small size
February 19, 2020 at 7:21 am #24399The z flip is a modern nokia fliphone.
February 19, 2020 at 8:30 am #24405Fold… Sam’s chin will look even bigger, not that I can afford either one at half the price they are at

February 20, 2020 at 2:15 am #24491I’ll prefer the Fold. The Z flip is just an Xperia 1 that folds. Someone who constantly takes out the phone, the folding mechanic is just unnecessary.
The fold can be used as a smartphone and a tablet.
